It’s been tough for all during what is our top peak seasonal months for fishing. We are so busy from May to September normally we have to turn business away to other fishing charter companies, but not this year. With the reopening of Hawaii being dangled in front of many businesses here on Kauai like a carrot it seems the future looks bleak for now. This is our peak fishing season where most fishing charter co’s rely on these peak months to get them through slower months in Winter to feed our families and so forth.
We our keeping our heads above water though. Thank God for Captain Lance’s expertise and lifelong fishing career that commercial fishing isn’t a stranger to him. It takes a special kind of person to be able to endure long hours on these waters off Kauai. There are a handful of serious fishermen here & he’s one. It’s a tricky one though as restaurants that were normally open and buying fish aren’t; many are closed. Trying to stay positive in a climate such as ours can be trying but we are grateful to simply wake up each morning in paradise.
On a positive note we are still ranked number one by top review sites leaving others in the deep. We are a serious sport fishing charter outfit with Captains and crewmen who are experts at what they do because they love what they do. We are enrolled in the Maritime Consortium which means our guys get drug tested. Safety is first and foremost with us always. Not all charters boats enroll ya know but we do! That’s just one of the many things that sets us apart from the rest. You can give me a call when your ready to get away from it all, if your interested in hearing the rest of the reasons. I am not going to say when we are suppose to reopen because the keep changing positions on us like a checker game. We are hoping soon.
What will the future hold? What will the new normal for Hawaii look like? Your guess is as good as mine. We are still here waiting for you all to come see us again. Kauai still yields amazing fishing grounds and beauty as far as your eye can see in any direction!
We enjoy having our local folks coming out with us when they can. As we reorganize, prioritize and stay hopeful we won’t have to close down we wish each and everyone of you many blessings & aloha.

First of all I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick
question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing.
I have had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out there.
I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like
the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted simply just trying to figure
out how to begin. Any ideas or hints? Many thanks!
Aloha Noah,
First off I make sure I have time to think & plan what I will write with no disturbances. Then, honestly I just go for it and have fun! I let my personality come through in hopes to not ever offend any one and just try and represent everything that this company is. Take a deep breath, engage your audience and have fun.
